Week 11 in the Arena Football League saw three blowouts and only one close game. That inevitably skews the rankings a little bit by distancing the better QB’s from the lower tier. Also, we have a new comer to the rankings this week as LA KISS QB Pete Thomas went over the 100 attempt mark in their blowout loss to Philadelphia on Saturday.

If you are new to the QB rankings, we rank the Quarterback’s on the 10 statistical categories that we find are the most important for a player to take his team to the Arena Bowl. So without further ado, here is the official AFL FanZone Week 12 QB Power Rankings for the Arena Football League:

Dan Raudabaugh Philadelphia Soul 2.0 (LW #2)

Nick Davila

Arizona Rattlers 2.1 (LW #1)

Tommy Grady

Jacksonville Sharks 2.8 (LW #4)

Randy Hippeard Orlando Predators 3.3 (LW #3)

Shane Austin Portland Steel

4.0 (LW #5)

Arvell Nelson Cleveland Gladiators

4.0 (LW #6)

Pete Thomas Los Angeles KISS

4.9 (LW N/R)

Jason Boltus Tampa Bay Storm

5.3 (LW #7)

*Remember a 1.0 is a perfect score, 8.0 is dead last.

As you can see we have a tie this week as Shane Austin (the former Gladiator) and Arvell Nelson (the current Gladiator) both tie with a 4.0 score. Austin wins the tie breaker which is prior week performance. His eight touchdowns and zero interceptions gives him the slight bump over Nelson.

You will also notice Nathan Stanley and Danny Southwick removed. There is no reason to keep these two players on my QB power rankings when one is on IR and the other is on a new team warming the bench.

What do you think? How would you rank these QB’s going into Week 12? Let us know over on our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/AFLFanZone/
